Michele Barton Thomas

Michele is a singer-songwriter from Chicago. She began making up songs at the age of four and playing guitar at the age of seven. Growing up and throughout her early twenties she continued to write songs as well as perform at various open mics, libraries and churches. After she married in 1994, her music took a backseat to raising a family. She continued writing along the way, although not very prolifically and had gone years at a time without writing or playing guitar. In 2010, with her kids older, Michele began writing and playing guitar again as well as learning how to play the dulcimer, banjo and mandolin. She released her debut CD, World Weary, in 2015.
